Itinerary

Day 1 – Monterey, California

Arrive in Monterey and begin your California adventure. Enjoy the scenic coastal setting and settle into your hotel.

Day 2 – Monterey – Carmel

Enjoy free time to explore Monterey before travelling along the famous 17-Mile Drive to Carmel. See the Lone Cypress, Seal Rock and Pebble Beach before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – Monterey – Central Valley – Modesto

Travel through California’s Central Valley and meet a local farmer at an almond orchard. Enjoy a taste of local produce before continuing to Modesto.

Day 4 – Modesto – Yosemite National Park – Modesto

Discover the spectacular beauty of Yosemite National Park with an expert guide. See iconic sights including El Capitan, Half Dome, Tunnel View and Yosemite Falls.

Day 5 – Modesto – Sacramento

Travel to Sacramento and explore historic Old Sacramento, a former Gold Rush-era district. Choose between visiting the California State Railroad Museum or the Crocker Art Museum.

Day 6 – Sacramento – Lake Tahoe – Sacramento

Travel across the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Lake Tahoe. Enjoy a scenic cruise on the lake and take in the stunning mountain and water views.

Tour Fitness Level Recommendation

Level 1: At a very leisurely pace, this tour involves minimal physical activity, such as climbing some stairs, boarding a motorcoach, and walking from the hotel reception area to hotel rooms and dining areas.

Masks

Guests are required to bring their own personal protective equipment they are comfortable with using, as wearing a mask may be required during some parts of your tour experience.

Motor Coach

All surfaces will be sanitised often, including regular cleaning of high-touch areas with disinfecting wipes. Hand sanitiser will be available at all times and drivers will wear protective gear.

Will I need a passport?

Passports are needed when travelling outside of your home country. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of your trip.
