Itinerary

Day 1 – Rapid City, South Dakota

Arrive in Rapid City, the gateway to the Black Hills. Meet your fellow travellers and enjoy a welcome dinner featuring stories about Lakota and Sioux culture.

Day 2 – Rapid City – Mount Rushmore – Rapid City

Visit the Chapel in the Hills before exploring Mount Rushmore. Walk the Presidential Trail and return in the evening for the spectacular lighting ceremony.

Day 3 – Rapid City – Badlands – Wall – Rapid City

Discover the dramatic landscapes of Badlands National Park and travel along the scenic Badlands Loop Road. Visit the legendary Wall Drug before returning to Rapid City.

Day 4 – Rapid City – Deadwood – Rapid City

Explore historic Deadwood with a choice of visiting the Adams Museum or Tatanka: Story of the Bison. Enjoy a guided town tour followed by a Western dinner and show.

Day 5 – Rapid City – Custer – Crazy Horse – Rapid City

Head to Custer State Park for an exciting off-road Buffalo Safari, searching for bison and other wildlife. Visit the impressive Crazy Horse Memorial and learn about its Native American heritage.

Day 6 – Rapid City – Devils Tower – Rapid City

Travel into Wyoming to see Devils Tower National Monument, the first national monument in the United States. Take in the remarkable rock formation before returning to Rapid City for a farewell dinner.

Day 7 – Rapid City

Enjoy breakfast before your South Dakota adventure comes to an end. Depart Rapid City with memories of the American West.
