Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi, Kenya – Tour Begins

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital and gateway to your African safari adventure.

Day 2: Nairobi

Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see rescued elephants, explore the Out of Africa farmhouse and meet Rothschild giraffes at a sanctuary. Visit the Kazuri Beads Factory before a welcome dinner.

Day 3: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Travel to Amboseli National Park, set against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit a Maasai village and experience local culture before settling into your safari camp.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in search of Africa’s famous Big Five. Take a picnic lunch on the open plains while watching for elephants, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Day 5: Amboseli – Arusha – Karatu, Tanzania

Cross into Tanzania and visit the Shanga workshop, which supports and employs people with disabilities. Continue to Karatu, located near Tanzania’s renowned wildlife areas.

Day 6: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

Explore the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater on a full-day game drive. Search for the Big Five and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the spectacular highland scenery.

Day 7: Karatu – Serengeti

Travel to the legendary Serengeti, known as the “endless plains.” Enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive.

Day 8: Serengeti

Set out on a full day of safari adventures across the Serengeti, with opportunities to spot Africa’s incredible wildlife and enjoy a scenic picnic lunch.

Day 9: Serengeti

Continue exploring the Serengeti on a full-day game drive. Look for lions, gazelles, cheetahs, hippos and other wildlife across the vast plains.

Day 10: Serengeti – Lake Eyasi

Travel towards Lake Eyasi, a beautiful salt lake nestled between Tanzania’s plains and escarpments. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a guided walk around the lake.

Day 11: Lake Eyasi

Meet members of the Hadzabe hunter-gatherer community and learn about their traditional way of life. Later, visit the Datoga tribe and discover their farming traditions.

Day 12: Lake Eyasi – Tarangire National Park

Choose between meeting a local fruit vendor in Mto Wa Mbu or visiting African Galleria to see local crafts. Continue to Tarangire National Park for a game drive among elephants and giant baobab trees.

Day 13: Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, home to abundant wildlife and more than 500 bird species. Celebrate your African adventure with a farewell dinner.

Day 14: Tarangire National Park – Arusha

Return to Arusha and relax in a day room before continuing your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Kenya, Tanzania and the African wilderness.
